9 Days Tour Beijing / Xian / Chengdu

Welcome to China! Upon your arrival, China Wayz tour guide will be expecting you outside the customs of the airport and transfer you to the already reserved 4-Star hotel in a comfortable and clean car. For the remainder of the day, you can have a good rest to release the jet lag.

Your escorted China tour starts form the center of the city Tiananmen Square. Walking northward across the square, you will reach the Forbidden City. As the world’s largest and best preserved ancient architectural complex of wooden structure, it has over 8,000 pavilions and houses thousands of time-honored treasures. For today’s lunch, you will enjoy our special offer – 5 different dishes of authentic Chinese food at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will continue to visit the Temple of Heaven, the royal altar of the Ming and Qing dynasties. A fantastic Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre will be tonight’s highlight and you will be impressed by the excellent performance.

After a full buffet breakfast, it is time to visit one of the seven wonders of the world, The Great Wall of China. As you might know the Great wall is very long and there are several sections that are very famous to visitors and we will go to the Mutianyu section of Great Wall as it is less crowded than Badaling Great Wall and you can enjoy your time and take better pictures. After lunch and a short stop at Jade Factory we will head to Summer Palace, a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in Beijing.
Tea ceremony is one of the most interesting experiences in China. We will end our day visiting to a local tea house to drink Chinese tea live like locals and relax after an active day, then we will take you back to your hotel.

You start your 4th day by visiting one of the Hutongs of Beijing, where you can see the old neighborhoods of Beijing by walking around or sitting on a tricycle. In the afternoon we will take you back to hotel to checkout and transfer you to the train station to get on board the high speed train and continue your journey to Xian. Upon your arrival to your next destination, we will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.

The first day in Xian is dedicated to visit Terracotta Warriors and Houses Museum and you will admire the ancient craft of the Qin dynasty. There is a pottery-making factory that we will visit on our way to our lunch. We will go to a good local restaurant to try authentic taste of Chinese food based on your choice.
After lunch, you will visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian Museum. At night, we arrange dinner and you will have one of the most famous Chinese food called Dumplings at a local restaurant, and also watching the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show

* Note: Since the dance show is closed on December, January, February and March, passengers in this months will have the free evening instead.

Today you will go to ancient City Wall to have a panoramic view of Xian. The wall is one of the oldest and best preserved ramparts in China. If you like being more active, today you have time to rent a bicycle and enjoy biking around. (Fee is not included)

After lunch, we will continue the tour by visiting The Great Mosque of Xian. This is the largest and the best preserved mosque in China. Then you have some free time to enjoy walking around Muslim street and try some delicious food or buy souvenirs.

Today you will leave Xian to Chengdu with a morning High-speed train. It is very convenient and it takes only 4 hours to get to Chengdu. You will enjoy watching the farms and beautiful nature of Sichuan province while drinking your tea or coffee. Upon arrival we will transfer you to your hotel and you have the rest of your day on your own. Your hotel is very close to Chunxi Road and Tianfu Square so you can walk around the city and have some free time to get ready for the rest of your journey.

Today you will pay a visit to the lovely giant pandas in Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Giant Panda only inhabits in China, so it is regarded as the national treasure.

After that, you will proceed to visit Jinsha Site Museum. Covering an area of 5 square kilometers, it is the historical remains of the Shang and Zhou dynasties (1700BC-221BC) focusing on the cultural relics’ exhibit and the sacrificial site. Then our guide will escort you to explore the Broad and Narrow Alleys of Chengdu.

After breakfast, please check out the hotel before noon and find your own way to the airport for your flight. We suggest that you check the needed time and ideally book a taxi in advance.
